Here is the blurb on the back of the book: Mrs. Frisby, a widowed mouse with four small children, must move her family to their summer quarters immediately, or face almost certain death. But her youngest son, Timothy, lies ill with pneumonia and must not be moved. Fortunately, she encounters the rats of NIMH, an extraordinary breed of highly intelligent creatures, who come up with a brilliant solution to her dilemma.

Mice in the story are like humans because they collect food like green lettuce,peanuts and Hickely nuts they look after their children very careful and look after them very well they house is really special to them with spacing bedrooms and also they living room.
They are very afraid of cats and so they try to stay away from them.

What do we know about Mrs. Frisby's character from what we have read so far? (5 sentences and correct punctuation please).
We know that Mrs Frisby is very kind and helpful because she helped Jeremy when he was tied to a string she untied it and he toke her back to her house . She is also very worried because her son is very sick with a very high fever and she tries to stay away from the cat because she could get eated
I really like Mrs.Frisby because she is so caring with her children and helpful to other people and friends.
Mrs.Frisby is very kind and helpfull and caring etc. She helps jermey to untangle from the string. jermey is scared of the cat. I like Mrs.Frisby because she is helpfull and caring and helps other people when they are in trouble. Mrs.Frisby is also worried about her son because he is very sick and maybe has to see the doctor.
I think you are both right. Mrs. Frisby has a strong character. She is selfless. She helped Jeremy even when she was scared that she could have been eaten by the cat. I think she is brave too. Do you?

mrs.Frisby is worried about moving because his son is sick and the tractor of mrs.figgibbens. the faimaly had to move because they were suppose to every year around. If i were Mrs.Frisby i would not move. I think thats a bad idea to move because my sons sick and i have to take care of him and i have so much things to do and take care of. i would be so scared to move because i really didnt know hte house yet so it would feel strange to me and doesnt feel right i just want to stay at my own home.

I think Mrs Frisby is scared off moving because timothy and could not move she scared because she heard the tractor over on the other side starting up they have to move because their house will get stamped on by the tractor but i think Mrs frisby and her four will get rescued by jeremy the crow because she helped him when he was in trouble so i am sure it will all turn out ok in the end i hope

What do you think happened to Dragon, the cat? Why was he asleep that whole time? (5 sentences and correct punctuation please).
Mrs Frisby went towards Dragon and his eye was awake but he did not see her and she ran so fast back to her home but she saw when Dragon the cat was sleeping Some rats came marching in lines and they were carrying a pice of electric line or cable and they were going towards a rosebush where there is a rat hole From Deirdre
i think the dragon will be awake looking for the mouse again and try to get him tyed up again. He will still be awake thinking.Some rats will be marching. The cat will try to tie the rat up again and he will chase after him.Then th cat the cat will bump into a bush. lol
First Timothy got sick and Mrs Frisby is worried and she finds food in a stump for her family to eat and she goes and sees Mr Ages about Timothy .He gives her some medicine for him.On her way home she meets a friendly crow called Jeremy who gave her a lift to her house.But Moving day comes and she gets worried about Mr Fitizbbon's plow and then one day Mr Fitizbbon's plow brakes and it will take three weeks for timothy to get better .

First Timothy got sick and Mrs.Frisby got worried about him. Next Mrs.Frisby went to Mr.Ages place to see what diesese Timothy has. Then she gave him some medicine to see if he gets a little stronger. Then on the way back home they find a nice little crow called Jeremy who gave them a little ride to their house. Finnaly moving dayt comes and Mrs.Frisby is worried about timothy and Mr.Ages said it will take Timothy 3 weeks to recover fully.
Next Question: What did Mrs. Frisby learn about her husband on the last line of this chapter? How do you think she feels about this?
Mrs Frisby learned that her husband went into the kitchen and put some of the sleeping powder in Dragon's bowl and he was running away and i think thats how he got killed . I think Mrs Frisby was afraid when she heard this because she said that she will try and put the powder in Dragon's bowl and she is worried she might get killed the same way as her husband got killed .
